Our dedicated Conformal Coating facility protects printed circuit boards in harsh environments and prevents the ingress of moisture, dust and helps to protect the assembly when used in extreme temperatures. Typical coating used is an Acrylic type which meets the requirements of many industry standards and is also UL approved, and is UL94 V-0 rated.
It is transparent with excellent clarity and UV resistance and is ideal for many applications. It provides excellent protection in humid environments and has outstanding salt mist resistance.
The coating is applied by spray or by brush and is easily inspected for coverage under a UV light.
We also use polyurethane, epoxy, silicone, UV cure and two part coatings and provide a number of alternative application methods from dipping, spraying, selective coating, UV and hand brushing to suit client requirements. If you have a specific type of conformal coating, we are always happy to source it on your behalf and use it solely on your products.
The conformal coatings we use are all environmentally friendly.
